Make a Sea Glass Pendant

  • Creative Explorers Workshop 71 Fore Street Saltash, England, PL12 6AF United Kingdom (map)

£75

Jewellery made from sea glass is hugely popular, especially down here in Cornwall. Whether you’ve been out collecting sea glass yourself, or you just love the beautiful colours, this workshop will teach you how to make these smooth frosty pieces of glass into a lovely bezel-set pendant in sterling silver.

You’ll learn numerous techniques, including measuring, piercing, soldering, texturing, filing, polishing and setting. But you don’t need to have done any of these things before - the workshop will be fully guided and, with a maximum of 4 people, plenty of one to one assistance if you need it!

All the tools and materials are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own piece of sea glass if you have some. (Find a piece that is flat on the back and around 1-2cm in size.) You’ll also receive a sterling silver chain of either 40cm or 45cm so that you can wear your creation home :)

This workshop is 4 hours long to allow for all the different stages but there will be plenty of breaks throughout and some refreshments too.

Please make sure you consider safety - wear closed toe shoes and tie long hair back.

Any questions, please do email me soozi@creativeexplorersworkshop.co.uk or pop into the workshop for a chat. Otherwise, you can book your place now by clicking the button below and selecting the correct date from the drop down menu.
