Workshops on demand! Our workshops can be adapted to suit a private group, either at our premises or elsewhere. Please email me soozi@creativeexplorersworkshop.co.uk to discuss your requirements.
Make a Silver Ring
In this session you’ll make your own ring using sterling silver. You’ll learn to measure, cut and prepare it for soldering, then have a go at the soldering!
You’ll also be able to use stamps and hammers to add texture, patterns and/or letters to your finished piece.
Make a Sea Glass Pendant
SOLD OUT. More dates will be arranged!
Jewellery made from sea glass is hugely popular, especially down here in Cornwall. Whether you’ve been out collecting sea glass yourself, or you just love the beautiful colours, this workshop will teach you how to make these smooth frosty pieces of glass into a lovely bezel-set pendant in sterling silver.

Introduction to Tarot
Are you curious about tarot and oracle cards? Maybe a bit sceptical? This relaxed and informal workshop is about learning how to use the cards in a fun and light way, and not in the ‘fortune telling’ way that they’re often associated with.
Make Silver Stacking Rings
Stacking rings are really versatile - wear one, two or five on the same finger and switch up the order each day!
In this workshop you’ll make 3-5 rings out of various thicknesses and shapes of wire.
Next Steps in Tarot
If you’ve attended one of my Introduction to Tarot workshops, or you already have a bit more experience in reading for yourself or others, this is the workshop for you!
This workshop is a bit more structured than the Introduction and will help you to develop your own system/s for learning the card meanings.
Watercolour: Shoal of Fish
This workshop is run by guest host Shari Arnott.
A fun and quirky exploration into watercolour techniques, suitable for those new to watercolours or with some experience.
Make Copper Bangles
Copper is said to alleviate pain and inflammation in joints and improve blood circulation. I honestly don’t know whether it can do any of those things, but I do know that its beautiful warm colour and shine makes great jewellery! And it’s much more affordable than silver, especially for large pieces like bangles.
Creative Explorers Club - Beaded Bracelets
Join us on the first Friday of each month to take part in a fun craft activity. No need to ‘be good at art’ and it doesn’t matter if (you think) you’re ‘not a creative person’. This is about having fun among friends (old and new) while doing something a bit creative.
In August, we’re making elastic beaded bracelets!
Writing Circle
Have you ever wanted to create more space for your writing practice? Or to write in a less solitary environment?
Beginners Crochet
This workshop is hosted by Ellen of Frances M. Crochet.
If you have been wanting to learn how to crochet but have just never known where to start, then this is the place for you. In this 3 hour afternoon workshop you will be learning basic crochet stitches and putting them together to make your very own granny square.
Adult Lego Club
If you love playing with Lego as much as I do, then join me for a grown-up open play session! Sit, chat and be creative over a cuppa :)
Writing Circle

Make a Spinner Ring
Spinner rings are hugely popular with those who like their jewellery to make a statement or that they can fidget with! They’re also challenging to make as they are made up of at least two rings, and sometimes three or four. In this workshop we’ll take up the challenge and make your own unique spinner ring.
Journalling
Journalling is about giving yourself time to pause. Through the act of ‘writing to yourself’ you can gently examine (and maybe address) some of the stresses, pressures and influences on your life.

Making Jewellery with Wax
The technique of ‘lost wax casting’ is an ancient way of creating jewellery, where wax models are made, which then melt away in the casting process, leaving a perfect mould in which to pour molten metal.
