Have you ever wanted to create more space for your writing practice? Or to write in a less solitary environment?

The intention of this Writing Circle is for anyone with an interest in writing (whether that’s creative, fiction, non-fiction, academic, poetry, or any other kind) to give themselves the gift of a couple of hours focused on their craft, among new friends.

I’ll provide a simple notebook and pen, or bring your own if you prefer, and over the course of the evening I’ll give you some interesting prompts and a set amount of time to write in whatever genre you choose.

There will be opportunities throughout, for those who want to, to share a short piece of what they’ve written, but there is no expectation for anyone to do that.
