Make Copper Bangles

  • Creative Explorers Workshop 71 Fore Street Saltash, England, PL12 6AF United Kingdom (map)

£40

Copper is said to alleviate pain and inflammation in joints and improve blood circulation. I honestly don’t know whether it can do any of those things, but I do know that its beautiful warm colour and shine makes great jewellery! And it’s much more affordable than silver, especially for large pieces like bangles…

So in this workshop we’re going to make a few different designs, none of which require any soldering. We’ll bend and wrap various different thicknesses of wire to make designs with twists and spirals - some may open and close with a clasp and others could go over your hand like a traditional bangle. I’ll give you some ideas and show you some techniques, but what you make is entirely up to you.

All the tools and copper wire will be provided (including hammers if you want to texture your pieces) so you just need to bring yourself and a willingness to experiment!

Book online via the button below or pop into the shop if you’d like more information or just want to book in person. I’ve also added some example designs below.

Some example designs using a range of different thicknesses of wire. Make yours like these or try something different!
