This is an art workshop but you don’t have to be arty!

Cut up magazines, books, textured papers and other media, add in some drawing or painting if you wish, to produce a couple of unique A6 sized tarot cards.

During this workshop we’ll aim to do two cards each but you can make more if you have time. Keep your cards as standalone pieces of art, that you could frame and put on your wall, or use them as a starting point to design a whole deck!

You don’t need knowledge of the tarot (or of art) to take part. If you’ve been to one of my Introduction to Tarot evenings (also not a pre-requisite!) you’ll know that tarot is all about intuition, instinct and personal interpretation. Whatever you produce from the materials will be unique and meaningful to you. And as with all my workshops, the process and the time you gift to yourself is as important (if not more so) than the end result.

I have plenty of tarot decks that we can use as inspiration and a wide range of materials to use, but feel free to bring old magazines or books you don’t mind cutting up, to supplement my stash!
